MRP will once again host a “Vendors Night” at its Brookfield location November 8th, 5:30-8:30. Proceeds will benefit New Milford Animal Shelter and the Volunteer Center.

MRP is sponsoring a children’s holiday card contest. The winning design will be used for the companywide holiday card. Call Amy Ferrari at 775-3634 x 300 for details. Deadline is November 1st.

Linda McCaffrey, RuthAnne Salvatore, and Chris Bonner have completed course work and have been designated as Senior Real Estate Specialists. This emerging market of older senior citizens has specific challenges and requires specialist skills which were emphasized during this training.

Allison Stone and Linda Carr have completed their training at the MRP University.

Big Fat Brookfield Wedding GalaSeptember 29th was the date of the “Big Fat Brookfield Wedding”, a mock wedding with a theme, which benefited the Brookfield Education Foundation.  With over 250 guests, the “Bride” Cathy Westervelt of McCaffrey Realty Professionals took her vows from Governor Jodi Rell.  Other “cast members” from McCaffrey Realty included Michele Biondi (Bridesmaid), Allison Stone (Bridesmaid) and Linda McCaffrey (Mother of the Bride).  Months of preparation for the successful fund raiser were coordinated by event chairperson Laurie Levitt.  Other committee members from MRP included Laura Cruger and Amy Ferrarie.  Joe Baker also serves along with Laurie Levitt and Linda McCaffrey on the Board of Directors of the Brookfield Education Foundation. 

The event met its aggressive financial goals.  BEF funds requests for initiatives throughout the town of Brookfield that promote lifelong learning for the town’s residents.

Even in this difficult (NORMAL) market, the hard working, full time professionals at McCaffrey are making their presence known in all of the communities they service.  Having enjoyed the top spot in the Brookfield market for the past 3 years they continue to dominate not just in listings sold but also buyers brought into the transaction.  With 55 different companies with transactions, MRP holds a dominant 10% of this market as well as showing strong gains in all of the neighboring communities.  Move up buyers as well as relocation play a significant role in these gains.

Festivities took place at the Danbury location of MRP for the entire week of October 1st to commemorate the first year anniversary of opening.  Located at 53 Lake Ave Extension in Danbury the REALTORS® expanding the MRP organization to the second office were named “Pioneers.” Pioneers include:
